Reserve at Lake Travis
Situated in western Travis county, and on the exclusive south shore of Lake Travis, you’ll find the three hundred and ten acre The Reserve at Lake Travis, a gated, master planned resort community and private club developed by legendary Texas businessman, Red McCombs, among others. At three hundred and ten acres, it is one of the larger subdivisions along exclusive Thurman Bend Road, and is but a short drive through Rough Hollow to Lakeway, or to Highway 71 and either Briarcliff and Spicewood to the west or Bee Cave and Austin to the east. Lots in The Reserve start in the $200s, with homes starting in the $700s, going northwards, depending on the lot and its location on the lake, into the millions of dollars. If true waterfront property is a priority, The Reserve offers large acreage homesites with expansive water frontage with gently sloping shorelines. If a lake view is preferable, The Reserve offers numerous lots with spectacular views over the water.
Residents of The Reserve are members of The Cypress Club, and as such can use the Water Park, The Equine Center (which boards horses as well as offering riding lessons), Lodge and Marina---which is the deepest water marina on all of Lake Travis. There are also two miles of riding trails for the determined horseback enthusiast, and the pool includes a swim up bar, a lazy river just meant for floating a hot summer afternoon away, waterslides, and, of course, a magnificent lake front view. Nearby restaurants include J5 Steakhouse, Angel’s Ice House, Poodie’s Hilltop Café---and all are incredible live music venues as well as serving some of the Hill Country’s best food. School age children would attend Bee Cave Elementary, Lake Travis Middle School and Lake Travis High School.
