US Mortgage Applications Down

The Mortgage Bankers Association said, though, overall mortgage applications fell 5.23 percent in the week ending July 1. Refinance applications fell 9.2 percent, the third consecutive weekly decline in refinancing activity. Purchase applications rose 4.8 percent.
