Guy L. Oberg II

Guy was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. A gifted athlete and easy conversationalist, his personality and desire for a more temperate climate drew him to Texas. In 1980, he and his wife, Mary Lynn, moved to Houston and then to Lakeway in 1982, where his natural talent for making friends and his ability to fix that which is broken led to the life-changing decision to open Oberg Properties in 1984. For over 30 years Guy and Mary Lynn have been business owners, parents, homeowners and members of the Lake Travis community and watched it grow from a sleepy outpost of Austin to the bustling destination it is today. Well known by many in the area, Guy always has a few minutes for a friendly chat and never hesitates to share his wealth of knowledge about the area!
